The light aperture is installed directly over the lamps to diffuse and color-shirt the light, providing balanced lighting with fewer lamps. Average brightness of the viewing area is photo metrically checked and light balanced to the value recommended by the Illuminating Engineering Society. Light aperture seals and dissipates heat build up from the work surface, discharging it through air flow convection ports for continuous cool operation. Satin glow light box is so thin (3") that no adjustment in table or drafting height is normally required. Light box includes built-in handle, non-skid rubber feet, press-to-start switch, color-corrected fluorescent bulbs. All models ship without glass.
